A different surrounding that the daily office space can have a big significance. IJ-Kantine offers two different meeting room, HavenKamer and DouwesZaal, that are the perfect setting for a creative brainstorm, meeting, workshop, training or presentation.

The IJ-Kantine is a unique and creative location for your business meeting. Located by the water, both rooms have a picturesque view over the IJ with plenty of daylight in both rooms. The surroundings of NDSM are peaceful and calm, so a productive session is guaranteed. Both rooms have an industrial style and are equipped with the necessary technology for your gathering!

Easily accessible by car or public transport, the location of IJ-Kantine is ideal for hosting meetings. After all you are in the most creative and vibrant area of Amsterdam.

The HavenKamer is a cozy 12m2 meeting room with an industrial interior design, located on the entresol of the restaurant. The large windows in the room, from top to bottom, open a breathtaking view over the IJ and allow for plenty of daylight to enter. The room is equipped with one large wooden block table, allowing 2 persons to sit on each side. Furthermore we have a 55 inch flatscreen TV for hire and you can use our free WIFI.

Settings

The room has one big wooden block table, where on each side two people can sit. A maximum of 8 persons in total.

Prices

The HavenKamer is rented in dayparts.
Day parts are from 09.00 – 13.00, 14.00 – 18.00 and 19.00 – 23.00.

One day part costs € 242,- incl VAT..
Two day parts costs € 363,- incl VAT.
A complete day costs € 484,- incl VAT.

Catering

With a group of 8 guests (or less) you are welcome to order á la carte from our restaurant. This includes your snacks, lunch and drinks. If you wish to change the setting, you can have lunch in our restaurant, where a table near the window will be set up for you. The menu includes delicious soups, warm or cold sandwiches or more classical dishes such as hamburgers. If you prefer to have the lunch in the meeting room, that’s also possible. Let us know in advance and we will adjust accordingly.

Wish to have an arrangement in advance? That is no problem!
We offer a coffee/thee & water arrangement for € 5,25 per day part per person.
For a in-between snack we offer a piece of cake or fruit for € 1,75 per person.

Douweszaal

The Douweszaal is the larger of the two meeting rooms available here at the IJ-Kantine. With a capacity of 60m2, the room offers great industrial space for creative meeting, brainstorm sessions and presentations for groups up to 50 guests. Located on the first floor, the room can be accessed through the stairs or using our lift. With large glass windows it offers a beautiful and peaceful view over the IJ and allows plenty of daylight to enter.

The room is ideal for the following settings:
Theatre – 60 guests
Carre – 38 guests
U– 34 guests

The room can be fully equipped with all the necessary technical equipment such as a 75 inch flat screen TV, sound system, free wifi and flipovers.

Prices

The Douweszaal is rented in dayparts.
Day parts are from 09.00 – 13.00, 14.00 – 18.00 and 19.00 – 23.00.

One day part costs € 423,50 incl VAT.
Two day parts costs € 605,- incl VAT.
A complete day costs € 786,50,- incl VAT.

Catering

With a group of 12 guests or less you are welcome to order a la carte from our restaurant. This includes your afternoon snack, lunch as well beverages. Have a look at our seasonal menu or be surprised by the choices on the day!

For groups larger than 12 guests, our chef has made special arrangements for you to choose from. For beverages you can choose a coffee/tea/water arrangement of € 5,25 per person for one daypart. For a in-between snack we offer a piece of cake or fresh fruit for € 1,75 per person.

Furthermore you will find three different lunch menus here. The idea is that you choose one lunch menu for the entire group. For Lunch 2 and Lunch 3 the choices of the dishes can be made by your guests on the day itself.

If you wish to have a change of setting then you are more than welcome to lunch in our restaurant. In case you wish to be served in the room, let us know this too! Both are a possibility.
